The Manufacturing Technology program of study is planned
to prepare the student to work in a modern manufacturing plant.
Program emphasis is developing skills in areas of computerized
and conventional manufacturing methods, computer-aided drafting
and machining skills, welding and precision fabrication, hydraulics,
pneumatics and electronics, and effective workplace communication
and employability skills. Employment objectives for graduates
include entry-level positions as CAD/CAM operator and designer,
CNC and conventional machine tool operator, industrial maintenance
mechanic, welder and precision fabricator.
