Meridian Technology Center operates an active job placement
assistance program for both current students and those who
have recently completed programs. The Job Placement Services
office located in Student Services offer job assistance to
students.
As a student at Meridian Technology Center you have the opportunity
to attend and participate in:
- Job Readiness Workshops
- Interview Techniques and Practice Sessions
- Resume Writing
- Job Search Activities
THE PLACEMENT PROCESS
To receive information about job opportunities while in school,
upon completion and at least one year after completion, you
must REGISTER with the Placement office.
If you are wanting to receive a referral for employment from
Meridian Technology Center you will (1) need to be registered
with the Placement office, (2) be a student or completer in
good standing (academic progress, classroom attitude and attendance
record), (3) participate in Placement activities and (4) follow
up on job leads given to you.
THE PLACEMENT SERVICE
- Provides a central office for job orders to be posted
and disseminated.
- Coordinates an active job order notebook of jobs available
to our students.
- Provides interviewing sessions, resume writing and job
search activities.
- Assists instructors in following up and tracking registered
students work status.
- Provides access to Internet job search activities.
