About Us - Foundation
Meridian Technology Center Foundation The Meridian Technology Center Foundation provides a variety of ways for individuals and companies to contribute to students who need assistance with obtaining education and training opportunities.

Established in 1985, The Meridian Technology Center Foundation is designed to advance vocational-technical education making education and training opportunities accessible to all individuals who desire personal and professional growth. The Foundation provides donors with a channel to contribute to the vitality of the state, industry, community, and the individual while recipients realize the personal and financial benefits of pursuing a new career or enhancing current job skills. It's a gratifying, win-win proposition for all.

The Meridian Technology Center Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation, accomplishes its purpose by providing scholarships and loans for tuition, books and supplies to students attending Meridian Technology Center.

Community Pillar Endowment
The Community Pillar Endowment Scholarship program can make a difference in the lives of others by putting education in their reach. The program, focusing on "community pillar" support, is in recognition of companies, businesses and individuals who desire to strengthen the quality of life for others. In return, donors' names will be permanently linked to the scholarship each establishes. A $10,000 gift, which may be funded over a period of years, creates a Community Pillar Endowment.

The Francis Tuttle Society
Meridian Technology Center Foundation established The Francis Tuttle Society in 1997, not only to honor Dr. Tuttle for his unmatched contributions to vocational-technical education but also to recognize generous donors who wish to put this avenue of education within the grasp of those who cannot bear its financial obligation on their own. The Society honors individuals, corporations, foundations, and organizations making gifts of $25,000 or more to Meridian Technology Center Foundation. Their gifts help ensure training and education for untold numbers of deserving and promising individuals in the future.

Outright and planned gifts received by the Foundation create named endowments, to provide resources that generate on-going financial assistance for students enrolled in career and technology training programs. Members of The Francis Tuttle Society receive special recognition for their generosity, enjoy tax advantages, and have the satisfaction of knowing they are leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

Options for planned gifts can benefit tax liability and the Foundation at the same time. These include bequests to the Foundation in a will, the gift of a life insurance policy or of appreciated securities and property, the establishment of a charitable trust, and the designation of the Foundation as beneficiary to a retirement plan or IRA.
